New Prices!

Hey everybody! After doing a little bit of thinking I decided to re-do all of my pricing. Some items aren't reduced by much, but I did what I could to try and help everyone out a little bit. I hope everyone is having a fantastic week!

Blankets: Even if it seems like some of the prices stayed the change, they didn't, and here is how....These prices are now INCLUDING tax instead of plus tax, and I am no longer charging to put more than 3 letters on the blanket. If you want the initials, great, if you want the whole first name instead, no problem! Pricing is based on the cost of the material chosen for the back of the blanket along with the amount of difficulty each fabric is to work with, not to mention the many hours that these things take to make!! :)

          Minky Back Blankets: apx 42'' x 30''
$50.00

       Corduroy Back Blankets: apx 35'' x 35''
$50.00
$45.00

Satin Back Blankets: apx 35'' x 35''
$40.00

Flannel Back Blankets: apx 34'' x 42''
$35.00

Fleece Back Blankets: apx 34'' x 42''
$35.00

Onesies: Again, these new prices are INCLUDING tax!! All onesie prices are determined by the number of different fabrics used along with the amount of difficulty. Can you blame me? :)

Single print onesies are now only $8.00!! These onesies include the following appliques:
Car, Truck, Tie, Ladybug, Airplane, Anchor, Sail Boat, Sun, Moon, Key, Flag, Crown, High Heel, Duck, Bow, Balloon, Gift, Star, Bird, Birthday Cake, Leaf, Butterfly, Bell, Cloud, or the letters A-Z.

Mult-Print onesies are now $9.00!! Any of the single print onesies can be made into multi print by adding a background to it, or adding extra appliques to the onesie. Other designs include the Cross w/heart, Fleur de Lis, Cupcake, Ice Cream Cone, Double Hearts, Argyle print, and anything with multiple appliques.

Twins!!

A somewhat distant cousin of mine just recently had twin boys! Seth and Reed were born about a month early, and other than some minor problems, they are doing great! My Mimi wanted to get the boys something special from her, so she asked me to make a couple of blankets! Again, I had free reign....but since I got to make two of them, it was ok :). I didn't want the blankets to be exactly the same so I decided to make one of them brown and blue, and the other one brown and green and use some of the same fabrics. I think they turned out pretty dang cute! Instead of putting the names or the initials on the back, I decided to put the first letter of their names in the very center square of the blanket. I have never done this before so I thought I would try a new little look out, and I like it! Here ya go!

Church Service Auction

Our ward's Relief Society had a service auction a couple of months ago. We all entered something that we could do for someone else in our ward and wrote them on cards. I entered a personalized baby blanket, because that's about the best I have to offer at this point in my life. Some people entered things like "I will bring a dinner over to your house one night", piano lessons, sewing lessons, scrapbooking lessons....the list goes on. I wasn't able to attend the auction but the winner of my blanket was super excited to let me know! This is her 4th baby, so she wasn't too picky about the colors or patterns. Which was a blessing and a curse, lol. I wanted to make sure that I made something that she would love.....but I had free reign. So I would decide on something and then feel like it just wasn't right. BUT, I finally got it figured out. AND here is her blanket!

Please look past the brown background....and part of my carpet in the picture :)

Ethan, JJM & Colton

I had a few friends of mine with baby showers coming up and they asked me if I could make some blankets for them. Carol ordered a blanket for a soon to be sweet little boy named Ethan. She emailed me a link to his bedding...and I went from there. I thought about making my own little monkeys to match the bedding, but I decided to leave them off. I think it turned out well! The second blanket was for my best friend Lauren! She has a friend that will be having a baby in December. Her friends husband plays for a men's baseball team called "Crush", and from what I hear, they are pretty die hard about this team. I love it. SOO I got really creative with this one. She wanted to include the "C" in the blanket somehow...and have a few onesies made as well. I added a strip of blizzard fleece to the top and bottom of this blanket....which I loved! I may start doing it to all of them. We'll see. The third blanket was for an old college friend whose friend was having a baby soon, Colton. She wanted something that wasn't really busy, so just 2 or 3 patterns, not my usuall 5 or 6 :). Well enough talking....here are the pictures!
